Anything else about me…
I am a Learning/Educational Technologist within the Business School at Bournemouth University. My main tasks include the support and development of the purely online-delivered Foundation and Top-up Degrees offered by the University, as well as the day-to-day tasks of staff development (through group workshops, one-to-one sessions, and online eLearning tools) and liaising with the central systems administrators with regard to the VLE. As an honours graduate of Geology I have re-trained myself in the use and development of emerging Internet technologies and, for a period of several years, worked as a self-employed freelance web designer. After joining Bournemouth University in April 2007 I have been concentrating on the technical and pedagogic aspects of learning and eLearning.
